Starting today, the popular messaging app will allow users to "unsend" a message, removing it from view, even in group conversations.

Once you do this, the other person (or people) in the chat will be sent a text letting them know that a message was removed. This works both for one-on-one conversations as well as in groups.
Facebook Messenger is finally rolling out the unsend button it promised almost a year ago.

Tapping the Remove option will then offer two options: "Remove for Everyone" and "Remove for You". "Now the company is adjusting its bonus calculations to better reflect its updated goals", said a Fortune report. Pretty self-explanatory here, but if you tap the "Remove for Everyone" option it will unsend the message.
