Starting with this build, streamlined Windows Hello PIN reset experience that made its debut on the build 18305 is now available on all Windows 10 editions (it was previously restricted to the Home SKU). You can now enjoy the benefits of signing in to Windows with your password-less phone number account. Once you've set up the account, you can use Windows Hello Face, Fingerprint, or a PIN to log in Windows 10.

With its latest Windows 10 preview build, Microsoft is moving along with its plans to kill passwords. I don't love losing a few hours every few months while it runs another more-or-less mandatory service pack (compare and contrast with how much more control Apple gives folk over when to update to a new version of OSX), having to irregularly fiddle with shenaniganised privacy settings again and work out how to shove some new and outrageously pointless frippery aside.
Cortana likes to butt in during setup in order to help users throughout the process, but Microsoft used a January 3rd, 2019 blog post to announce that Cortana will soon be disabled by default "based on feedback" when users clean install Windows 10. Instead, you will have to wait for it to finish talking instead of being able to just skip a certain part.
