Turkey said Saturday that it had provided the United States and other countries with an audio recording of the killing of Jamal Khashoggi, a Saudi-born dissident and USA resident who died in the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul last month.
Kerman said the murder lasted for about seven minutes, according to the recordings. We gave them to Saudi Arabia, to the United States, Germans, French and British, all of them.
"We gave it to Saudi Arabia", said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke at Ankara airport before departing for Paris for commemorations to mark the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I. "Saudi Arabia must respond to our good will, and be just, and clear themselves of this stain", Erdogan said.
Khashoggi, a journalist and critic of Saudi Arabia's government, was killed after visiting the Saudi consulate in Istanbul to obtain a marriage license last month.
Erdogan earlier this month accused members of the Saudi government of ordering the killing.

In an interview with Al-Jazeera, Nazif Karaman, the head of investigations at the Turkish Daily Sabah newspaper, cited audio recordings of Khashoggi's final words as he was being murdered in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul.
Khashoggi went missing on October 2 after entering the consulate to obtain documents for marriage procedures. His body has not been found.

After initially denying and later playing down the incident as a fistfight, Saudi Arabia accepted that the journalist's killing was premeditated and he died in an unplanned "rogue operation".
Secretary of state Mike Pompeo told Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Sunday the USA will hold accountable all those involved in the killing of a dissident Saudi journalist, in a telephone call that also took in the conflict in Yemen.
The official confirmation will increase the pressure on President Donald Trump and other Western leaders to demand accountability for the killing, specifically from Saudi Arabia.
"I'm unable to express my sorrow to learn about dissolving your body Jamal!"
Turkish officials have also suggested that the orders came from the highest levels of the Saudi royal family, but Ankara has repeatedly said it does not believe the crown prince's father, King Salman, was behind the killing.
The two reportedly agreed that the case should not be used to create further destabilisation in the Middle East and said it could be used to help end the war in Yemen, which Riyadh has a lead role in.
He called on Saudi Arabia to rid itself of the "stain" by cooperating with Turkey over the investigation.
