The FBI has reached out to Deborah Ramirez, the second woman to accuse Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct, as part of the investigation into allegations against Kavanaugh, CBS News has confirmed.
However, it's unclear if Republican leaders - or President Donald Trump - will support Flake's call for the investigation or might instead press forward with a full Senate vote on Kavanaugh's nomination.
"A thorough FBI investigation is critical to developing all the relevant facts", attorney Debra Katz said in a statement released Friday evening.
A third woman, Julie Swetnick, accused Kavanaugh and Judge of excessive drinking and inappropriate treatment of women in the early 1980s, among other accusations.

There are already people saying, 'Oh a week's not enough.' We tried to limit the time duration for the investigation, and limit the scope to the current allegations.
Judge told the Senate Judiciary Committee on Friday he either does not recall or flatly rejects the allegations about his and Kavanaugh's behavior in high school.
A supplemental background check into Ford's allegations could also widen beyond witness interviews to include an investigation into a gap that Ford has admitted to in her story: the date of the party.
Blasey's hourslong testimony, in which she answered queries from Democratic senators and a woman prosecutor hired by Republicans to do their questioning, was widely considered credible. Judge said he never saw Kavanaugh act the way Ford had described. "They are just compiling the investigation and reporting on it".
"I need to go to my hearing. Grassley who is doing a very good job", he said. Joe Donnelly (Ind.), another Democrat up for reelection in November in a red state, said he would vote "no" on Kavanaugh'. Agents should get support from the Judiciary Committee for rapid immunity and subpoena decisions, he said.
Ultimately, even without much reference to the two anonymous individuals, Republicans said they believed Blasey while dismissing her. Kavanaugh said he didn't do it; they said they believed him more.
