The "good news" Obama said is "in two months we have a chance to restore some sanity in our politics".

Trump was dismissive of Obama's speech. Next week he'll be in OH to campaign for Richard Cordray and other Democrats.
Obama will hit the campaign trail on Saturday, appearing at a campaign event in southern California before heading to OH next week and to IL and Pennsylvania later in the month.
"And by the way the idea that everything will turn out OK because there are people inside the White House who secretly aren't following the President's orders", he said.
Obama's office announced his first round of endorsements earlier this year and the official said his second round will be released in coming weeks.
