What the Rockets getMarquese Chriss #0 of the Phoenix Suns moves the ball past Zhou Qi #9 of the Houston Rockets on November 16, 2017 in Phoenix, Arizona. It's a downgrade for Knight's fantasy outlook, as he goes from being a potential starter to fighting for minutes in one of the most talented backcourts in the league.
The Suns will have to decide by July 10, 2019, on guaranteeing the full amount for the final season of Anderson's contract, or they can waive him and owe him the $15.6 million. Anderson left New Orleans in 2016, signing a four-year, $80 million free-agent deal with Houston. Anderson's role on the Rockets decreased last season, so it didn't make a lot of sense to keep him around.
The Rockets, who added Carmelo Anthony this offseason, are expected to compete with the Golden State Warriors for the top spot in the Western Conference.

California sends net neutrality bill to governor's desk
The bipartisan bill passed 61-18 and will now return to the Senate before being sent to Governor Jerry Brown to sign or veto. But consumer groups and internet websites have been waging an effort in states to revive rules.
The Suns now have Melton, Okobo, Shaquille Harrison and Isaiah Canaan as options at point guard. He could be in the mix for point guard minutes in Phoenix. Melton became the first freshman in all of Division I basketball to record at least 300 points, 150 rebounds, 100 assists, 60 steals and 35 blocks since Dwyane Wade did so for Marquette in 2001-02.
Phoenix Suns forward Marquese Chriss, left, is guarded by Kings forward Skal Labissiere on December 12, 2017, in Sacramento.
Melton was selected by the Rockets in the second round of the 2018 National Basketball Association draft.
This trade also leaves the Suns with a gap at point guard, and unless they plan on experimenting with Booker as the lead playmaker, there could be another trade or signing coming soon.
