The disclosure comes days before Kavanaugh's confirmation hearings, which are slated to begin Tuesday, and intensifies a battle between Grassley, who says he has produced a record number of documents, and Senate democrats who question the review being led by lawyers for the Trump administration and Bush.
However, Senator Lindsey Graham claimed that Kavanaugh may change the status quo of Roe v. Wade if given the opportunity.
Another key issue at the hearings will be Kavanaugh's views on executive authority.
The White House made a decision to hide these documents, citing executive privilege as its rationale, said William Burck, the head of a team of lawyers who reviewed some 664,000 pages of Kavanaugh-related documents housed in Bush's presidential library.
"A Supreme Court with Brett Kavanaugh on it will roll back the rights of hundreds of millions of Americans, turn the clock back on decades worth of progress for women, for the LGBTQ community, for African Americans, for workers, and cement the worst of Donald Trump's policies for generations to come", she added.
Klobuchar argued that the documents stemming from Kavanaugh's time in the Bush White House could "strongly bolster the arguments that I could make" on whether the appellate court judge is qualified to serve on the Supreme Court.

FILE - With the U.S. Supreme Court building in the background, Supreme Court nominee judge Brett Kavanaugh arrives on Capitol Hill in Washington, July 10, 2018.
The matter could be significant to Trump if the high court is called upon to render judgment on matters arising from special counsel Robert Mueller's ongoing Russia-related investigation into the Trump administration and several civil lawsuits pending against Trump.
Joe Manchin of West Virginia, voted to confirm Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch, Trump's previous nominee. At the moment, no Republicans have said they will reject Kavanaugh's nomination and no Democrats have said they will support it.
Kavanaugh's confirmation is complicated by the sheer number of emails that exist during his years in the White House.
Democrats opposed to Kavanaugh's nomination have complained that Republicans supporting him are withholding key records from Kavanaugh's time as Bush's staff secretary, which they wanted to use as a basis to question him.
"This may be the latest and most dramatic breach in the process, but we already knew it was a sham, broken at every step along the way", said Kang, who is now with Demand Justice, an advocacy group working to defeat Kavanaugh and other conservative judicial nominees.
