"My daddy, daddy, I love you".
Shanann Watts is pictured with her two daughters, Bella and Celeste. Shanann and her children will be dearly missed.
Shanann Watts' body was found on the property of a petroleum and natural gas exploration company, authorities said.
He is next due in court on Tuesday. While the Denver Post says much remains undisclosed about the case, including when they were killed and what a motive might have been, it does make an inference about how the girls were killed based on documents filed Friday by Watts' defense attorneys after they consulted with a DNA expert, per Fox 31. That was after they bought their house, an asset valued at $400,000, records show. The company said Christopher Watts had been employed there, but declined to note when that employment ended.
Merson, Watts' attorney through the Colorado State Public Defender's Office, left Thursday's court hearing without commenting to reporters. The couple reported two savings accounts with a total of $9.51 and a joint checking account with $864. A gender reveal party was scheduled for later in the week, and one longtime friend said she was having a little boy.
According to a Facebook post from her brother, Frankie Rzucek, she was pregnant with a boy.
A lawyer for a Colorado man suspected in the deaths of his pregnant wife and two young daughters says the daughters' bodies were submerged in crude oil for four days before they were found.
Shanann Watts recently posted on Facebook about the trips she's been on reportedly paid by her employer.
Christopher Watts's attorneys sought to preserve DNA evidence they said would still be present on the bodies, saying that once autopsies are finished, the evidence will be "lost forever", according to the motion.

CDC monitoring measles cases in Arkansas, Missouri

Turnbull and Shorten unite to condemn controversial Fraser Anning speech
Labor senator Anthony Chisholm said it was surprising she pushed ahead with her plebiscite legislation given her comments. Anning was elected on the One Nation ticket before switching to Katter's Australian Party.
One of the defense motions expressed the fear that no one planned to swab the necks of the children's bodies for DNA. Several hours later, the Town of Frederick announced on Facebook that investigators with the Police Department and CBI have found the bodies of Bella and Celeste. After a friend stopped by to visit Shanann Watts on Monday and got no answer at the door, they were reported missing.
Chris Watts made his initial court appearance on Thursday afternoon.
Christopher Watts was being held Saturday without bail, on suspicion of three counts of first-degree murder and thee counts of tampering with a deceased body in the killings of his wife and two daughters.
Speaking on NBC's Today show, Watts said he and Shanann had had an "emotional" conversation that morning but didn't give any further details.
"Right now I don't want to throw anything out there. I just want them to come back".
"I just don't understand it", said Bell, who described Christopher Watts as a loving father.
But he grew anxious, he said, when one of her friends contacted him around noon and said she wasn't responding to messages.
"I walked in the house and - nothing", he said.
