WASHINGTON: President Donald Trump lashed out at his former "Apprentice" and White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman Tuesday in especially angry terms, slamming her as a "dog" and a "crazed, crying lowlife" as her tell-all book hit bookstores.
The president's demand for arbitration is based on a confidentiality agreement that the Trump campaign states Manigault Newman signed with the organization covering her work on the 2016 campaign. "I wanted to have this type of documentation.in the event I found myself in this position where, as you said, they´re questioning my credibility".
"I'm not going to comment", Omarosa answered.
Zeke Miller and Jonathan Lemire report that an very bad lot of ex-Trump aides have gotten lucrative "jobs" just like the one Omarosa said she was offered to stay quiet.
Several commenters said the statement was both sexist and racist, and called for Twitter users to report it for targeted abuse. She described an October 2016 phone call with former assistant to Eric Trump, Lynne Patton, spokesperson Katrina Pierson, and campaign communications director Jason Miller, during which they discuss how they should deal in case it leaked.
Trump on Monday denied the existence of any tape from "The Apprentice" in which he used the racial epithet. "What is he afraid of?" she said in an interview with MSNBC's Katy Tur.
Sanders defended Trump's attacks as "nothing to do with race" and simply his "calling out on someone's lack of integrity". She alleges tapes exist-and she has heard one-of him using the N-word racial epithet.

The briefing by Sanders came after Trump referred to the former adviser, Omarosa Manigault Newman, as "that dog" in a morning tweet.
She added, "This is his pattern with African-Americans". "He uses his rallies to really encourage people to bring down African-Americans".
Pierson: "I am trying to find at least what context it was used in to help us maybe try to figure out a way to spin it".
In a series of interviews, Manigault Newman has also revealed two audio recordings from her time at the White House, including portions of a recording of her firing by Kelly, which she says occurred in the high-security Situation Room, and a phone call with Trump after she was sacked. What's now alarming is how mainstream it is becoming, so mainstream that it is now coming out of our White House.
First lady Melania Trump, meanwhile, is disappointed that Manigault Newman "is lashing out and retaliating in such a self-serving way, especially after all the opportunities given to her by the President", said White House spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham. "There is no excuse that there's not another African-American assistant to the president". Manigault Newman's controversial allegations, some of which are not verified, have rattled the president and thrust his aides into damage-control mode.
