A week ago it was reported that Demi Lovato was "awake and talking" following a drug overdose. TMZ reports that the singer is suffering extreme nausea and a high fever, as well as other symptoms. "I was not with Demi when the incident happened, but I am with her now, and will continue to be because she means the world to me just as she does to all of you".
The "Confident" singer is reportedly still severely ill, and doctors haven't decided when she'll be able to go home. She was given Narcan, a medication used to reverse the effects of a narcotic overdose.
Her hospitalization comes a month after she released her song Sober, in which she sings about relapsing, and in recent weeks had cut ties with her sober coach. Since then, the singer has been hospitalized at Los Angeles' Cedar Sinai hospital and her family is to the point where they are seriously considering obtaining a legal conservatorship for the troubled singer.
The actor was said to be "shocked" after learning about his former flame's apparent overdose and appeared sombre while at the hospital visiting her. As for why, we're told Demi is very, very sick.

California wildfire: Hopes emerge that fire is slowing down
Two firefighters were killed - one from the Redding Fire Department and the other a bulldozer operator hired to battle the fire. Shasta County Sheriff Tom Bosenko said he expects to find several of those people alive and just out of touch with loved ones.
It was thought she was ready to leave the facility, with it being claimed she was being released into the care of a rehab centre.
Still, her situation was severe when she was first admitted to the hospital.
Lovato's ex, Wilmer Valderrama, has also been supporting her by spending hours by her side since her alleged overdose. "This is obviously a huge wake-up call", the source said. "Some of the information being reported is incorrect and they respectfully ask for privacy and not speculation as her health and recovery is the most important thing right now".
