The holder of the Guinness world record for the longest fingernails has finally made a decision to trim his alpha-keratin opus, which grew over past 66 years to a combined length of a city bus and will now be put on display in NY. "Now, forever my nails will be remembered and forever my nails will be seen by people from all over the world".
The video, which was shared by Guinness World Records, shows Chillal getting his nails getting cut using an industrial cutter instead of the regular nail clipper. I spent 66 years of my life on my nails. But, over six decades later, he's chose to cut them.

He only grew the nails on his left hand, keeping his right hand trimmed.
"Due to years of growing his nails and their weight, his left hand was permanently handicapped; he can not open his hand from a closed position or flex his fingers", the post said.
