IN has had 11 sickened, while Missouri has had 10, OH has had one case and IL six.
The CDC says there have been more hospitalizations with this outbreak than usual.
Caito Foods has ceased producing and distributing these products as the company and FDA continue their investigation. Caito Foods voluntarily recalled fresh-cut honeydew melon, cantaloupe and fresh-cut mixed fruit containing one of these melons on Friday.
Kroger, Walmart, Jay C and Payless stores in the affected states have removed pre-cut melon products tied to the outbreak.
