LeBron James has said that no matter who wins this year's National Basketball Association final, neither his Cavaliers or the Warriors will be accepting an invite to the White House from Donald Trump.
Over the last 24 hours, U.S. President Donald Trump has rescinded the invitation of a White House visit to the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles over a dispute about anthem protests, and the White House has blamed the Eagles for "abandoning their fans".
The White House event was merely Trump's petty way of showing the Eagles that he didn't want them there after a number of them already said they weren't going to show up at the White House anyway. "But it's typical of him", James said. "It won't be Golden State or Cleveland going".
"I think [Pederson] is a good guy".
James also said that the WNBA Minnesota Lynx not even receiving an invitation to the White House was "laughable".
Trump also disinvited the Warriors, who won last year's National Basketball Association championship, from the White House celebration in September when he saw star guard Stephen Curry say he would prefer not to attend.
The White House said the event would be called off and replaced with a celebration of the National Anthem and Trump tweeted that was the cause.

Whether the Warriors or the Cavs win the NBA Finals, don't expect that to change this year.

Curry said the team has been on the same page after his comments previous year and Trump's subsequent revoking of the Warriors' invitation.
Jenkins issued a lengthy statement on Twitter on Tuesday after the White House disinvited the Eagles from an event originally meant to honor the Super Bowl champions after the Eagles reportedly chose to send only a small contingent of players.
No members of the Eagles kneeled for the National Anthem this past season. The Eagles safety, who has been a vocal advocate for social justice, felt like talking wasn't getting his point across. "Going to White House was a great honor until you showed up".
