Earlier this evening, the Pokemon Company announced a brand new Pokemon game for the Nintendo Switch, called Pokemon Let's Go.
Pokemon Go integration is also included, with players being allowed to transfer their Generation 1 Pokemon into Pokemon: Let's Go. The event unveiled Pokemon Let's Go for the console and is slated to be released in November. This would make sense, and bring the games closer to Pokemon Go, but mean that battling trainers would be the only way to level up your Pokes; it'll be interesting to see if you can actually grind.
Pokémon Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon Let's Go, Eevee! are based on Pokémon Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition, which first launched in Japan in 1998.
Along with a new Switch controller in the shape of a Poke Ball, the variety of gaming scenarios involving the various gadgets and games might risk befuddling many adults, but will make flawless sense to kids and Pokemon-generation gamers.
