West Ham confirms departure of David Moyes

David Moyes has left his position as manager of West Ham following the expiration of his six-month contract with the club.
Moyes took charge of West Ham in November past year, signing a six-month deal following Slaven Bilic's sacking, with the club in the relegation zone.
The announcement arrived barely 12 hours after club co-owner David Gold said he hoped 55-year-old former Manchester United and Everton boss, Moyes, would remain in charge. Click any of these buttons below!
9 - Moyes was West Ham's ninth permanent manager of the Premier League era, and only the 16th in their history.
Moyes was successful in steering the club to safety and the Hammers eventually finished in 13th spot in the table, although he was never able to truly win over the full backing of the fans.
