Apple offers battery replacement for some 13-inch MacBook Pros

The company says that a limited number of these MacBook Pro models, units feature a component, that can fail and in reaction can cause the built-in battery to expand.
Numerous affected laptops may not have experienced a swollen battery at this time, but Apple explains that it has identified a component that can fail and result in damage to the built-in battery. They announced the marriage to the manufacturer and received a promise for a free replacement battery. Affected units were manufactured between October 2016 and October 2017 and eligibility is determined by the product serial number.

Well, such replacements are in the rage and so is the Apple. And, you can get the replacement just by visiting any of the authorized service provider or any nearest retail store. After that, it's a matter of 3 to 5 days for service to take place.
Apple, however, will not extend the standard warranty coverage of the devices. Also, any customers that have already paid for a replacement battery for their affected laptop can contact Apple Support about a refund.
