Last night, Tyler "Ninja" Blevins chose to set records on Twitch when he teamed up and played Fortnite with Drake, Travis Scott, and JuJu Smith-Schuster.
The game has seen an astonishing rise in popularity since its release previous year and it was recently estimated that Fortnite boasts around 45 million players. Seeing a mainstream celebrity play alongside a Twitch streamer helped bring a lot of new viewers to the platform and it didn't treat Fortnite or gaming as a gimmick. Later in the stream, Travis Scott and Pittsburgh Steelers star JuJu Smith-Schuster joined in on the fun.
Telling Ninja that he's a fan of Ninja, finding his clips on Instagram and YouTube while getting into the game, Drake explained he's been playing Fortnite for around two months or so. He also talked about filming his viral "God's Plan" video, for which he gave out $1 million: "It was really the best time of my life". According to Polygon.com, the all-time Twitch record is now held by Eleague Major: Boston 2018, which had over 1.1 million concurrent viewers.
No matter how cool Fortnite is right now, having Drake play with you on Twitch is no easy feat.

The Twitch spectacle truly unified the gaming community like never before. Drake! What a team player. The all-time Twitch record is held by Eleague Major: Boston 2018 with more than a million concurrent viewers.
Now, bear with me - I'm no Fortnite expert - but according to more reasoned observers he's not bad at the game.
Sadly, Drake revealed that he has pineapple on his pizza, which means that we must now exile him from humanity.
