From a running back standpoint, Penn State's Saquon Barkley was already drawing heavy interest from numerous teams looking to fill a need at the position, but after seeing how dominant he was in Indianapolis at the NFL Combine, the interest for some teams may have hit a whole new level. That's even more solid now after his stunning combine performances. Barkley is a running back that possesses power, speed, and quickness.
To put this into further perspective, future Hall of Fame left tackle Joe Thomas only recorded 28 reps during his combine.
This group of runners is considered one of the best position groups in the entire 2018 draft class, and they didn't disappoint with their on-field testing. Barkley did not stop there, he posted a 1.54 secs in the 10-yard split drill, per NFL.com.

Things only got worse Friday for the son of former Browns and Ravens right tackle Orlando Brown. He will still most likely be a first-round pick, but in my eyes, he showed a lack of preparation, a lack of commitment, and displayed poor effort. He ran 4.52 seconds in the 40 at 227 pounds. We don't know how meetings went, but Brown did get yelled at by coaches during on-field workouts for 'loafing'. He finished with a disappointing 4.66 time.
Let's take a look at who the experts have the Vikings taking at the #30 overall spot in their most recent mock drafts! As we saw here, Saquon Barkley did and #Orlando Brown did not.
