PadMan's producer, Twinkle Khanna also took up the challenge passed by Arunachalam Muruganantham. Twinkle Khanna had challenged her Mela co-star and he gladly accepted it.

"PadMan" revolves around the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, who is popularly known as the "Sanitary Man" who had the courage to produce low-priced sanitary napkins for women in rural India.
