On Monday, the U.S. Navy official Twitter account briefly tweeted WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange's name.
Social media users also raised concerns about Assange's safety as his account went offline just days after an alleged robbery at the Madrid office of WikiLeaks lawyer Baltasar Garzon.
The post was a quote from Assange himself, which read: "A knowledgeable public, is an empowered public, is a free public".
Twitter users searching for his account, had gotten a notice that the "page doesn't exist".

It eventually returned without much explanation the next morning, meaning it is so far not clear if the account was purposefully suspended by Assange or Twitter, or if there was an unsuspecting glitch in the system. Meanwhile, another account has come up claiming to be an alternative handle by Assange and started posting claims of censorship before it was suspended.
