"A flying first for me: 4 hours into an 11 hour flight and we are turning around because we have a passenger who isn't supposed to be on this plane".
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend's festive getaway from Los Angeles to Tokyo, Japan got off to an abysmal start after the first aircraft they boarded had to be turned around, meaning they spent eight hours travelling from LAX back to LAX airport.

Online flight tracker Flightaware showed the plane making a sharp turn over the Pacific, just over four hours out of LA, and returning.
ANA says it's trying to determine how the passenger boarded the wrong flight.
The airline said it takes great pride in providing "exemplary customer service" but "failed to do so" on this flight.
"ANA is researching the situation now to determine how the passenger boarded the flight".
All Nippon Airways apologized to its passengers saying it “failed to deliver the customer service we strive for.”
She joked later that she was in a room with "water and a tv".
The passenger onboard the flight had gotten on the wrong flight, apparently.
"Why not just land in Tokyo and send the other person back?" she tweeted.
'They keep saying the person had a United ticket.
Teigen lost no time in informing Twitter of her freaky situation.
"Taking off! Please don't be the same menu please don't be the same menu", she quipped. "So basically the boarding pass scanner is just a beedoop machine that makes beedoop noises that register to nowhere".
When the plane finally landed- in its original origin, Teigen cracked: 'LAX - LAX flight complete.
