Putin called Trump to thank Central Intelligence Agency for tip on bomb threat
The Kremlin says a tip-off from the American Central Intelligence Agency (CIA ) has helped prevent a terrorist attack in St. Petersburg of men accused of an ISIS-linked plot that would target the city's Kazan cathedral and other busy places.

Two forces personnel, who included one armyman from 44 RR and a police personnel of Shopian Police, were, as per the spokesman, injured during the encounter. While the cordon was being laid, hiding militants fired upon the joint search party, thus starting an encounter.

Eyewitnesses said that the Indian forces also blew three houses and two cowsheds during the gunfight using explosives, besides torching a auto and a motorcycle.

"A bullet hit a lady in the abdomen at her home while she was cleaning the doorway of her house". Police further said that " as cordon was strengthened the civilians of nearby area were evacuated".

"Their condition is stated to be stable".
