Akayed Ullah, the 27-year-old Brooklyn resident who attempted to carry out a suicide attack at New York City's busiest transit hub, chose the location because of its Christmas-themed posters, The New York Times reported on Monday.
"The A, C and E line are being evacuated at this time", the NYPD had said, adding that the information is preliminary.

A man suspected of setting off the explosion this morning in Midtown Manhattan was identified by authorities as Akayed Ullah.
