"Feeling furious, disgusted and degraded after an Alaska Airlines flight during which the passenger next to me made repeated lewd, inappropriate, and offensive sexual remarks to me", said Ms Zuckerberg, the founder and chief executive of Zuckerberg Media, a marketing and production company.
The letter explicitly said Zuckerberg was going to write about her appalling experience on social media, and it went viral once posted on Facebook.
The New York Times noted there is no centralized database where data about sexual harassment on airlines is collected. Zuckerberg also claims he "rated and commented on the women's bodies boarding the aircraft as they walked by us".
Zuckerberg was also irate at Alaska Airlines' staff for "knowingly and willingly providing this man with a platform to harass women".
Zuckerberg complained about the man to the flight attendants but was told he was a frequent flier, downplaying his behavior, kept giving him drinks and told her not to take the harassment "personally". "Their response was that this guy was a frequent Alaska Airlines on this exact route, and that they have had to talk to him about his behavior in the past", she said. "Once Ms Zuckerberg told flight attendants about this man's behaviour, they should have moved him to a different seat or ejected him from the airplane". She was asked if she had sexual fantasies about her travel partner by the man next to her, who continued to make vulgar comments as other female passengers got on the flight.

Some people thanked her for being fearless enough to speak out and others offered their sympathy.
Zuckerberg says Alaska Airlines executives have since called her to say that they are conducting an investigation and have temporarily suspended the passenger's travel privileges. "While it never should have happened in the first place, I am thankful that they are taking the situation seriously".
It further added: "We want our guests to feel safe".
"What Randi Zuckerberg shared with us is very disturbing", the spokesman, Mr Ray Lane, said. We're fully investigating this situation and will take appropriate steps, as needed.
In the recent times, a number of cases of harassment were faced by flight passengers on board but a lot of them are either brushed aside by authorities or dissolve with time.
