They say their toddler was resting alone during naptime when a three-drawer Malm dresser from Ikea tipped over and crushed him to death.
"At the same time as communicating the recall, we are continuing to communicate the global IKEA Secure It! campaign to raise the awareness of the importance of wall attachment". She believes Ikea needs to work harder to warn families of the dangers before more kids get hurt.
Mann's colleague, Alan Feldman, whose firm also represents the parents of three other boys killed by Malm dressers, told NPR that Jozef's death was "completely avoidable".
"What makes this death more heartbreaking is the fact that last year's so-called recall was poorly publicized by IKEA and ineffective in getting these defective and unstable dressers out of children's bedrooms", Feldman continued.
On Friday, Ikea offered condolences to the family.
The company defended the 2016 recall and its efforts to publicize it, saying that it worked with USA media outlets for coverage, launched a national advertising campaign and posted information about the recall prominently online and in its stores.
The most recent death occurred in May involving a 2-year-old California boy.

Mann says the design was inherently risky and charged that the company still hasn't done enough to warn consumers who may have one at home. "They're particularly vulnerable at that age, which is why I think you see these injuries and deaths".
Mr Mann, who represented the families of three other children who died in similar circumstances, said the family plans to sue the store.
Ikea, pictured March 27, 2013 in southern France, has comes under fire following a tipping dresser that has killed multiple children.
The groups said CSPC must make a greater effort, "to reach every home with an IKEA dresser, urging families to return any unsafe dresser for a refund, and providing incentives for consumers to remove such a dresser from their homes".
Ikea is still offering anchoring kits or refunds to those who have dressers on the recall list. The Dudek's weren't aware that the dresser had been recalled by the furniture company.
According to the CPSC, 97 children died from furniture that tipped over between 2000 to 2015.
