Iran: Trump Decision Could Bring 'Crushing' Response

By October 15, Trump is scheduled to recertify the Iranian nuclear agreement, officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), which limits Iran's nuclear program for 15 years in exchange for easing the pre-existing sanctions.
An early shot across the bow came earlier in the day when US authorities offered multimillion-dollar rewards for two officials of the Lebanese resistance group Hezbollah, a longtime Iran ally and fraternal partner founded shortly after the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran.
While President Donald Trump is expected to announce this week that he will not certify Iran as in compliance with the landmark nuclear deal, it remains unclear if he will follow through with congressionally approved plans to extend a terror designation to the IRGC, a move that has prompted Iran to threaten greater attacks on US forces in the Middle East. "It's time America be taught new lessons".
"It seems the Trump administration only understands swear words, and needs some shocks to understand the new meaning of power in the world", Jazayeri said.
New reports emerged Wednesday afternoon that Trump's planned speech on Iran may be scaled back and not take place until Friday, if it does at all. Internally, the US Department of State said that forces under IRGC control have committed abuses against the population. Washington accuses Iran of supporting "terrorism" and says the 2015 deal does not do enough to block its path to acquire nuclear weapons.
According to the spokesman, the U.S. shouldn't pressure Iran while negotiating regional issues.

He also pointed out that there's a possible "conflict of interest' angle involved as Kher himself runs his own acting school". Now Chauhan, in reaction to Anupam's appointment, told IANS that FTII needed a good administrator more than a good actor.
Trump Has a New Nickname for His New Enemy
Some of Trump's allies, including former White House chief strategist Stephen Bannon, have called on him to resign. On Oct. 9, Corker stated that Trump had intentionally made inaccurate statements on a regular basis.

The hawkish turn in US policy toward Iran has alarmed many of its European allies.
German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel on Monday urged the United States "not to call into question such an important achievement that has improved our security". Designating the Guards as terrorists could make it more hard for Iranian businesses to take advantage of the lifting of the worldwide sanctions, since banks are required to verify that their clients are not on terrorism blacklists.
If Trump refuses to certify, the Congress will have 60 days to decide whether to restore the sanctions against the Islamic Republic that the U.S. has agreed to waive under the deal.
"So by taking a stance against IRGC and designating it a terrorist group, the Americans would be joining the terrorists' camp", he added.
The nuclear deal was reached between Iran and the world six powers of Britain, China, France, Russia and the US plus Germany in July 2015.
