During the New York-to-Florida flight, Coulter says he was asked to move from her pre-booked seat to another spot. The carrier said it will refund the 30-dollars Coulter paid for her preferred seat.
According to a Delta spokesperson, there was no confusion during the flight as all the passengers had complied and the flight took off on time.
Dolphin Tale actress Austin Highsmith contrasted Coulter calling people "snowflakes" versus her Twitter complaints.
Coulter responded on Twitter by saying she was still waiting for an explanation why her seat assignment was changed.
But Delta told FORTUNE on Sunday the seat change that caused Coulter's frustration was a minor one. The pundit expressed anger at carefully selecting her seat, only to have "some woman" come in and enjoy it. This is the outspoken commentator #Ann Coulter, who is often seen on Fox News, she's not your average run-of-the-mill compliant airline passenger. Yet Coulter's rant (which can be viewed through an apolitical lens, since she simply wasn't nice) brought genuine fire, for she attempted to shame a female passenger, who looked pretty unimpressed after Coulter raised hell over her extra-room seat being given away.
In response to Coulter's social media tirade, Delta said it was sorry that the customer did not receive the seat she reserved and paid for.

What happened to Coulter is common for travelers, with airlines consistently enforcing rules that put customers last. After almost a day, Delta replied and took her to task on Twitter.
For Coulter, the $30 refund felt like an extra slap in the face.
