This will only allow apps to show review pop-ups three times a year, and will block apps from presenting the pop-up if you have already rated them. The update comes with a number of updates, but perhaps the boldest change is to the App Store.

With the revamped App Store, users are now notified whenever developers launch new features for their favorite apps. And once a user has left a rating, they'll never see it again.
As previously reported, the iOS 11 contains a security update, one which gives users an option to enable location tracking only when the apps that need such data are opened. If a user does go through, a Touch ID prompt box pops up for authentication, but states that the user will pay $99.99 for an automatically renewing seven-day subscription. Other changes include requiring developers to use Apple's own API to ask users to provide ratings without leaving an app, and screenshots can now include text overlays. But the concern from developers may be the loss of control over when, or how often, that prompt is presented.
That being said, iOS 11 will bring one very nice feature to developers.
The iOS 11 is now available only to developer account holders.
