Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Thursday condemned the terror attacks in Tehran a day earlier and sent a message of condolences to Iran's President Hassan Rouhani.
Iranian authorities have arrested seven people suspected of helping militants involved in this week's attacks in the capital Tehran, a judiciary official said on Saturday.
The terrorist attacks targeted the building of Iranian Parliament as well another important place, Imam Khomeini Mausoleum in Tehran.
The arrests were made in Alborz province's Fardis town, reports Xinhua news agency.
Revealing the names, photos and identities of the assailants, the Intelligence Ministry said in a statement that the terrorists were affiliated to Wahhabi and Takfiri groups who joined ISIL terrorist group overseas and were red handed in the crimes of the terrorist group in Mosul of Iraq and Raqa in Syria.
