The Xiaomi Mi 6 officially launches this Wednesday, so we will soon now if the rumors are true or not. The smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 chipset coupled with an Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It could mean that the device will come out with 6 GB of RAM upon release.
The latest teaser for Xiaomi Mi 6 states that the phone will come with 6GB RAM and dual back cameras. This one has four-sided mirror glass and an untra-reflective finish despite the metallic build. According to rumors, Mi6 will have a dual-12MP rear camera and the secondary lens might have a 5X optical zoom feature instead of digital zoom. The company is also holding a contest until April 18 in China in which people can participate and stand a chance to win a Xiaomi Mi 6 when it launches. Speaking about audio, the smartphone comes with dual-speakers that help in getting a stereo sound effect. We can only see the back side plus the top and bottom edges that tell us there is a 3.5mm jack, IR blaster, speakers, and USB Type-C port. If we were to judge from what we've previously seen from Xiaomi, then we think the Mi 6 will truly live up to its reputation.
The USP of the otherwise familiar looking smartphone is its camera.
